Bottom turbo on Twins Question
Bottom turbo on Twins Question
I'm looking at a B2 (s400) as a bottom turbo for a set of twins I'm getting ready to make. Does anyone know what the difference between a 110A/R and a 132A/R will make in cooling and spool-up?

A 1.10A/R housing will spool better, yet not flow/cool as well on the top end. The 1.32A/R housing will spool slower but flow/cool better on the top end.
1.10 would be a better daily driver set up.

I'd like to find a 110A/R for my truck that has a 74 turbine wheel and a 85 comp wheel. No one I've called can tell me both the wheel sizes and the A/R, they either know one or the other.

Get the big one, the 1.32. I've had the pleasure of running both and the EGT control with the 1.32 was insane. 1320F pulling 18k GCVW at full fuel (drag comp + mach6's). The 1.10 is good for the smaller stuff, but doesn;t seem to get job as a primary charger done as well. It get's pretty hot on a 1/4 mile run, but it's a good compliment for 115HP injectors + drag comp. The 1.32 'hits' harder when it spools than the 1.10. Your truck will feel like it's been kicked in the rear by a F-16.
