Best way to direct side exhaust upward for pulling?

I've got one side exhaust tip and will be needing someway to direct the smoke upward for sledpulling this year. Its a 4" pipe and removable 5" tip. Anybody got any pics of this done on a truck, or what kind of pipe can be easily hooked up, BUT secured enough not to damage the truck?

Any help appreciated. I've got a ton of work to do before this years pulling season starts. Not that I'm real serious or wanting to be real competitive. I'm just addicted to it.

Yes serious, turbine "could" come out the exhaust the also make them run two bolts cross hatched to protect the crowd. Its all a safety precaution.

Something like that, picture a compressor blade coming at like a ninja star spinning a gazillion miles an hour. Its not likely to happen but it could and the results wouldnt be pretty.

I've heard of them, arent' they out on the coast? I think its too far away for me.

I'll be pulling in central NC. Oakboro, Elon, Silk Hope, Salisbury, East Bend. STPA mostly. I'm not competitive. I just like to do it.

Yea very close to Elizabeth City NC, You should check out there site MCTTP.com they have 2 diesel only events scheduled for the year, that might be worth coming to, good pay out and 4 different classes you can run in. there were 4 or 5 hot trucks that came from the Charlotte area last year. what is your closest pull to us? I might like to come pull with you guys some time if you don't pull in the middle of the night like over here?
