No smoke, thanks to nitrous, but banks claims that smoke is caused by bad flow and therefor you should buy his intercooler and intake tubing. At work we have just one Banks six gun for a Duramax and its been on the shelf for 2 years. Not impressed. Not Knockin the Duramax just about every one beats me but Banks is overengineered crap wheather it be for Ford Chevy or Dodge you can have more fun with other tuners and pay less too, which makes for happier customers. The guy is just to proud of his stuff $$$$$$

Old Gale has already said in interviews in many of the diesel magazines that he would use NOS "as needed" to cut the smoke even if he had to use it on the entire run down the 1/4 mile. We all know that enough NOS can and WILL clear up that black smoke.

I still say they will have their work cut out for them next year in that "tube chassis diesel class" as there going to be many more entries that are going to be super fast.

It should be interesting...................................

Man, give the guy credit where credit is due. These things always digress into a "cummins is better..." rant. Duramax is a darn good motor, on and off the track.
