1st time puller seeking advice (gear and tire pressure)

This is by far the best option. This give you more ground speed. In 3rd low, your engine should have no problems revving out once the clutch is engaged, just don't rush it. Make sure the clutch is locked up good around 2k RPM then truck on.

ive found that 2nd lowrange does the best for me but really not enough wheel speed ______________________________ 97 dodge 12 valve, luk clutch,#10plate ,few screws turned,4in pipe with 5 inch duals at the back

anybody ever try 2nd high I tryed 3rd low and had no problem that was valair feramic single disc

I would say 20 psi maybe lower on the front tires and air the back up as much as is says on the sidewall of the tire like max pressure 60psi thats what I would air the rears up to

I've never pulled a sled, but I've had my truck long enough to figure 3rd/LO would be my choice. 2nd/LO would just be rediculous and I wouldn't think 2/High would have enough gear reduction to not smoke the clutch. But I'm no genious.

Depends on your axle gears, tires, clutch, and power. I run 3.54 gears, 33" tires, and all I ever run is 2nd high. I am looking to switch to 4.10's before next year though.

This has been enlightening, I always thought 3rd high with a high powered truck, they just look faster than 21 mph.
