Question 1st dyno run

So we got a new mustang dyno installed at work, it's a teaching tool. Just been running cars until diesel sized exhaust tubes get installed, which was done yesterday .

I am going to dyno my truck on friday to see if the exhaust works or not. I am going to try different Smarty settings. What gear would be best to find top hp/tq?

I am thinking 3rd but leaning towards 4th. Hopefully I can get someone to video.

Was unable to do some dyno runs. Going to try again this week. Did some experimenting though, it seems I will top 3k in third too soon so I think I will try 4th.
Going to do runs on stock then various smarty programs with and w/o revo.

Talking

Got to dyno today!!!!! Corrected #'s, I did all runs in 4th gear and Smarty runs with revo.

No Smarty: 291hp 817tq
SW#2R : 309hp 761tq had to shift and tq went lower
SW#3R : 365hp 843tq
SW#5R : 267hp 770tq Why is #5 lower?

I was surprised to hit 360hp. I have always run SW#5 but I'm am going to try #3 for awhile.

Hey thanks, I was surprised.
It's all listed in my sig and the mods are pretty conservative. I have always wanted to do a dyno run. I just wish I was feeling the full force of the hp/tq numbers, the uncorrected #'s were awful. The dyno is around 6400ft.

I will run SW#2 again because the measuring parameters were not set right so it wasn't running the test when I hit max tq. I didn't do a 1/4 mile run either but I don't really care about it.

Video !!!!!!

This is from my second run on SW #3. It's a little less torque. It needs some smoke in the video but the exhaust system works good.

I do not like the hesitation when I started. Is that just turbo lag? I didn't notice it until I saw the video.
