Big Rigs Talk about other Cummins powered vehicles here. As a matter of fact, it doesn't even have to be Cummins, but it will be diesel! :)

Anyone know...

I'd run from that freight shaker, that is a heavy haul truck. 46,000 rears 14,000 front 8LL tran and a canadian spread tandem most likely run hard and put away wet

Yep, I think I WILL run away from the FS. Glad I asked!

That Western Star you sent my way looks pretty good Pind. Bunk is a little bigger than I'd like, but for the price... Why the heck don't they make those little 36" bunks anymore? I'll call him Monday.

I got real lucky with the current International we have, but I don't expect to get that lucky again!

I'm going to have to remember that one, that's GOOD! I'm looking at a 98 Freight Shaker at the moment. I'll have to see if it's still around when I get back to Michigan in a few weeks. http://www.truckpaper.com/listingsde...=2318537&dlr=1

Thanks again everyone!
Roddys trucks is just down the road form me. i have not heard anything bad about them and they seem to have decent turn around on trucks. they have been slowly shrinking the number of trucks for sale, and they have a for sale sign out by 131 so i wonder if they are going to stop selling trucks soon.
There were i think 3 of those white and blue freightliners for sale there, most looked like they were used in heavy haul. hence the 46,000 lb rears and wide spread on the drives. or they could be from Canada.

Wow, I didn't know we had any DTR members that close to me! Thanks for your input on Roddy's. I had one guy I know in Middleville tell me to run from Roddy's and don't look back, but he told me the same thing about Star Truck Rental in GR. I bought my current truck from Star and I couldn't be happier with it and THEM.

Now why couldn't I find all of those? I spent the better part of a whole day looking for SA tractors in the Truck Paper and came up with about 3 total. THANK YOU!!!

you can do a search on truck paper and tell it to look for singe axle, with sleeper and under a certain price, its usually on the bottom of the screen when you start looking at the different categories of trucks.
