I need a good transmission place for the auto tranny in my 92 D350.

The transmission was built by Suncoast and the warranty period hasn't expired yet, but I'm not the original owner. I'm calling them tomorrow just in case.

In the meantime, any good recommendations?

 

I believe that A-Z Diesel, in Mesa, is a Suncoast dealer. If he can't help, I'd call Suncoast & see if warranty would cover the trans.(if that's the problem).

On the far west side of Phoenix (Wadell, 183 Ave. & Bethany Home area) is a DTT (Diesel Transmission Technology) installer that has a great reputation for his installs. His name is Fred Swanson (1-623-910-9575) & he may be able to give you some suggestions as to how to get your truck back on the road.

For what it's worth I took my truck to Performance Transmissions in Glendale. The shop came highly recommended and they were familiar with the Suncoast product.
