Ya I should have got my tires sipped when I bought them. I was told that they don't recommend doing it on used tires. Yup I got ripped, they told me some sweet deal on the phone. After they add this and that, the went bill up and up. I was in a hurry, I had to be in Chicago in three days, so its all good. I don't know what I'll go with next time. I went thru three sets of BFG ko, I thought I try something different. The Toyo sure last longer than my BFG ever thought of, and right now thats a good thing.

You haven't had luck with your M55s in mud Mike? I've run quite a few sets on my Dakota now, my brother runs them on his 2500 and Dad runs them on his old W350. Obviously not as good as a real MT, but head and shoulders above anything all-terrain-and the wear is phenomenal. They are loud though. I've yet to run a set of the new BFG MTs-ran multiple sets of the old tread pattern in 35s, both 16" and 17" versions. Loved everything about them except the performance on ice-scary at times.

Hard pack, they work great. In the muck, forget it. My BFG wasn't much better, they plugged up quickly. With spring coming, and all the typical outages (into the deep bush). I almost hate driving the old girl into that stuff, as I know everytime something will break or I will get stuck. I might have to look into of those hemi 2500 power wagons, they seem to handle the mud better. I haul around 1000 lbs of stuff, so a 1/2ton complains in the rough stuff.

AS PROMISED FELLAS-----BFG KM2 in 255/80/R17/33.3 inch--MOUNTED----------drive home was OK,you can tell you have a more aggressive tread under the truck now---fills the wells GOOOOOD and i can still break em loose with the SMARTY JR on #2-75% ,brought it up to 100KMH on Deerfoot,RPM are a hair under 1700RPM,a little hum to them but very faint-not like some others you here coming from 3/400 feet away, about 1-1/2 between the rear duals.Price came in a little cheaper $2083.50 out the door for all 7 from Pitstop Tire(Ryan is the guy to see) in Calgary-even included stainless steel valve stems too.The rear were a mother to get to break loose but a 10LBS sledge did the trick after about 50 hits. These tire guys are Ok---2 man shop ,one vehicle at a time about 45 minutes to get-r done, even let you in the shop to watch/hangout.Tires took only 0.25/0.50 ounce of weight to balance----very true.Hope you likeDW---PS did the MBRP cool duals last week in the garage, next week Leer 700 tonneu and i have a 1 piece aluminum driveshaft waiting to go on---get rid of the 2 piece center bearing problematic one.

DWeiler, They do look good! How wide is the tread measuring on yours with them mounted? At the widest point on the tread.

Dw, you have to give a performance update for the gravel, snow, ice, mud conditions. They look awesome, and appear to have lots of lug to grab into the muck.

50PSI on the rear/60PSI on the front ----measured the rear only and they come in at 9.5 inches at the widest point on the outside rear rim.DW

Will do Mike-they would of probable helped last week up at the RV lot----6 bald Generals and 24+ inches of snow=stuck truck.Mudding will have to wait until i head up to dad place way north for hunting season---pops has got a nice Bull Moose hanging around his 1/4---hope he stays till fall.I usually head into the back side of the bush/1/4 to cut down enough firewood to get my folks threw the cold winter and it can be pretty soft-----i will just have to put these tires to work.DW

Across the road tread pattern---7 1/2 inches wide(this is the lugs/road contact pattern not including the side tread lugs witch is very little anyways) and 32 1/2 inches tall(spec is 33.3 inches tall unmounted so you loose about 3/4 of an inch to squatting/weight of the vehicle). This taken from the rear of the truck outside dually.Hope this helpsthey may become narrower if you air them up to max PSI(80PSI) but unloaded i choose to run 50PSI in the rear and 10PSI more in the front to cover the weight of the CUMMINS DW

Nice looking skins..

Huh, I didn't know the 07 came with a 2 piece drive shaft... Mine is 1 piece, not a dually, but the wheelbase is the same.

I was considering the REVO2's for replacing the 08 skins soon. Anyone hear anything about them?
