So dumb question for ya. Umm how did you damage those wires? You go 4X4 recently? They are way up in the tunnel and should be protected pretty good. Maybe I shouldn't have asked, case I might be scared of what you where really doing with the old girl. You get any air lately?

I'm sure Fred was driving around in his usual "I'm in a funeral procession" style!!

As others mentioned, I'm glad it was something minor.
Perhaps take it easy on your truck for a day or 2 after all the repairs.

The rear axle assembly will need time to break in & should get a fluid change in about 500 miles.
I would recommend 75W/140 synthetic Red Line with the limited slip additive for that Dana. Very nice upgrade btw..

there are no clutches in the detroit truetrac, no additive is nessisary.

Sorry Luke, I didn't realize Fred's new rear axle assembly has a helical gear Truetrac instead of the stock clutch-type Dana posi.

So Fred now has a rebuilt Dana 80 with a Detroit Truetrac instead of his stock Dana 70? Very nice upgrade indeed!

Rob, I'm gonna come and park on your driveway buddy. Share some of my good luck with you as well. I should be bullet proof now, as I went back to stock, for now. There isn't all of power to get into trouble this way.

Rob, have you tried out that Kore suspension on any jumps up north like highway 43 by GP. That road will make you smile as you can take the jumps at decent speeds. I was haulling something at the time, so I couldn't put my foot into it to hard.

I try not to get airborne too much, need to truss the front axle in order to do that. I do let it get away from me from time to time. My daughters get a kick out of racing it so when they start saying "Hey Dad, do what a Dodge can do!" I have a hard time letting off.

You should come and park in my driveway, I got nothing to do tell next week, and some vodka left over from the badger lake fishing derby.

I'll give ya a call on the weekend. We can take Chris new (new to him) jeep over to show what a really off road vehicle looks like. He got a pretty sweet deal on a jeep. I'm sure that we can help you out with that vodka issue.
