Wife finally understands
Folks,
Every once in a while my wife asks 'Why the heck do you spend so much time on the truck **** site'? Today she finally gets it. When I was starting out with truck in sig last fall, I thought I needed a trackbar. Within a day Doj Dewd came through for me with one he had in his garage that was way better than a stocker and that he didn't need anymore. Now 10 months later I am fighting with a less than stellar performing A/C. JHansen will be stopping by next week to top me up with some coolant. He called me back less than an hour after I left a PM. On top of that, others like dvst8r had already helped with some good contacts and a lot of useful info. I already understood how you all work and am proud to be as active a member of our little Alberta chapter as I can be but it was really cool to hear the wife say 'Geeze, those guys on your truck **** site are really nice and helpful guys' after I got off the phone today. So, in case any of you ever wonder if your help is appreciated and noticed, it sure is. Even by the one who isn't turning the wrenches. I s'pose it could be because she says the truck is hers and she let's me drive it when weather or the job at hand requires it and my payment for using her truck is that I have to maintain it.

Wifey loves my 2007 Megacab dually way to much, she is cool with most of the aftermarket stuff that i find on these sites and time spent here .Heck last weekend she took off in it to do some shopping(left me the keys to the Sentra or drive the 01 and get it dirty
) ---Megacab came back pretty much full of stuff we need(groceries/bargains etc).She has had a few girlfriend getaway weekends with it as well---"WHY NOT" as she helped pay for it too.If she is heading to the our lake property for the weekend i am pretty much S.O.L as i have to drive up later with the other car/truck on Sat due to having to work.Friends/buddies wish they had a wife like mine sometimes and cannot believe i would let her drive a vehicle like that .

My wife has met several of our group and likes them all. We have actually developed some very good friendships through this site! I just wished I didnt live so far away from everyone.
