Truck needs work.

Okay so here is my problem I don't have a full knowledge of taking apart the Old Cummins motors and mine needs to have the valve cover gaskets changed first of all which gaskets are best I have heard the felpro/napa blue units leak and that the Cummins ones are better so I am not sure which ones to go with as well I was told there is a certain amount of torque the valve cover bolts have to be at and I don't know what that is so if I could get some help on this that would be great thanks again.

the valve covers are really easy , pull them off and tighten them down tight the bolts are bottoming bolts so you can't over tighten them it like a a 15 min job to do all 6
