Traction Bars

Anyone know a good place to get traction bars? Doesn't necessarily have to be in the Edmonton area. I'm willing to travel within the province.
Would there be any complications having it done on a stocker? I've wanted them for a while, just haven't seen much info on them. I saw a pic on another site that looked like a stock truck, but I can't be certain.
Thanks.

Which bars are you guys running? I see there are about 6 options there between diameters of pipe, heims and length. I take it shorter bars would be more for my applications, no lift, stockish sized tires and no sled pulling.

I run 66" Lazar Bars on my long bed. They are made from scratch so....any length... any diameter you want are makeable!
Larger heims go on Pulling Bars and up. Drag Bars are strong enough for any application, but look a little 'small' on a CTD, IMO. The Drags Bars would be ok say 48" long, but longer IS better for overall weight transfer and axle articulation.

Evolution makes some sick stuff!!! They worked over my buddies Kevin's Prowler and did a sweet roll cage on it, way cooler than the factory one..

yup inthe foothills industrial park off the corner of Barlow and 61st. Clayton is a personal friend of mine so I try to pimp out his stuff when I can. the trucks I've seen them put in eliminates wheelhop and reduces wheelspin. Mike I don't think ujoint breakage will be a problem, I haven't heard of any anyways. you'll still overcome traction before you bust a ujoint on pavement with street tires anyways. at the tracl all bets are off though. they put more power to the ground. because the leverage of the bar ...... the longer the bar trys to lift more of the weight of the truck. = putting more pressure downward. if you want to see a set on DPS guy KEvins personal 07 chevy has a set on it.

they don;t affect any handeling or load capacity in any way. only thing they change is getting rid of spring wrap. and if you're going to really offroad with them, you put a big Evo joint at the top in the shackle instead of a bushing.

Do you remove the rear sway bar or they work with the sway bar? I might have to stop in one day and see if they have any bars available.
