torque converter charge valve...?

When i did my engine i had lines made up from my transmission to my cooler. Theres a little valve in the one line that one pop until it gets a certain pressure, making sure your torque converter is always filled. I pulled this off and set it aside in a safe place until i got the lines made. Then i forgot about it until this week when i realized the truck has to spin up a little more then i like.

Long story short this valve is a little brass fitting with a one way arrow on it. You only see about an inch of it between the hard line and the soft line at the cooler. I have no idea what way it points in what line, and as it acts as a one way check valve it has to be right. Anyone feeling kind enough to roll under an 05 with a flashlight and tell me what line it goes in and which way it points. Or does anyone know what line is the torque outlet? Im assuming the front one but we all know what assuming does. Thanks guys

the cooler pressure port is closest to the front of the tranny case. the cooler return port is closer to the back end. just trace your lines and reinstall it. it is suggested to not clean that valve. and replace it instead. crack pressure is 2 psi, if you test it.
