Depressing shot of the patio/deck heater. I actually ran mine for about 30 mins on Fri nite to get the snow off it. I am starting to get really worried about spring. If we get a fast thaw I am in a world of hurt. There is an 80 acre field north of me and when it melts it all runs between the house and the barn. The house sits up enough that I don't have to worry about wet basement but the driveway will likely have a 'road ban' for everything but the cats (meow, not earth movers). There are already 2 low spots between the house and the highway where the water is right up to the the sides of the road. I expect that I will be taking alternate routes if it really gets up to 10C like they are predicting later in the week. I spent the last 2 days putting new speakers, wiring an stereo in the truck. Had to do it all in the heated barn/shop. It is kind of cramped quarters for the truck. Would have been so much easier outside. I guess the hay will get a good start this year - the ground will be good and wet.

Dr Evil thats bloody funny..

Tallguy.. try to stay dry.. I know i have my 2 inch trash pump all ready for the fast melt that is going to happen.. I can see a problem area out back just waiting to happen.. If i ever build another house i will be installing a outside sump with a insulated llid so i know it wont freeze so i can pump right from the house sump..
