I priced out relays, $6.99 each at PA and the light bulb plugs are $7.99 each and Ukranian Spoke and Wheel.. So that would be about $30 in hard parts and then wire and heatshrink.. The harness would be easy..

Dave, take a look at this. This will give you the diagram for the relay and part list.

That was a good writeup Mike.. Thanks for finding that. The only difference would be the sockets for the light bulbs for the 9004 series. From that setup you can make it a 4 bulb socket set as well with the hi/lo on as he wired it.
Nice and neat..

LMC sells that wire harness for $26. I'm gonna spring for new lights and the xenon bulbs. Suppose to be %30 more light, X2, I might see bambi on the roads at night. My lens are cloudy, on my truck and one broke. So think I might just buy new headlights and some other stuff..

Hey Mike...so you are using xenon bulbs with the stock headlight housing.??So whats better??Sport lights with standard bulbs or some of the aftermarket light assemblies that LMC sells?

Not yet, but I will be ordering them soon as for the new lense for the truck. Mine are cloudy, chipped and one broke. I read the info in the catalog, I don't know if it will power both into hi beam mode. I haven't landed on what I want in the truck. I want to start getting little pieces together so when I paint the truck, I will have new stuff to make the truck look new. But first I have to put in a few more dents and let the rust grow abit more...

The LMC harness just replaces the factory setup with relays supplying the main juice instead of going throught the DRL module. You need the britebox to get both hi and lo on att he same time.

I checked LMC and they do make a heavy duty harness for sport lights..Instead of $30 for the regular setup, for the sport you need two sets of cables...Cost would then be $60...

Boy...the sport conversion for headlights sure adds up...With the wiring harness, next the headlights and now found out the side marker lights are different also..Thats life.Wonder how much the sport option was compared to the standand truck?

The signal lamps are different, but they are usually sold as an assembly with the headlight and the adjuster/mount, so it's part of the price.
