I have a bag full of extra interior parts I can throw on the floor of you're truck Jason, just to see if you're paying attention. I just want to watch the pro's in action and drink beer. Its safer that way.

The problem is where it melted, it was just far back enough to suck through the firewall, so I can't find the one end. I have a peice of line, I just can't find an end to stick it onto lol.

I moved my wiring and heater vacuum supply line up to the top of the firewall. Then wrapped it in heat resistant stuff (asbestos), and then covered/wrapped everything up with sheet metal. The wires to the PCM tend to get hot as well. That’s next thing to melt, don't ask me how I found out?
We auto guys, we can also melt the tranny dip stick handle off, during towing. I've done that one a few times as well. More fuel=more heat=more burnt stuff under the hood.

I just fixed my wicked turbo surging. I adjusted the wastegate when I did my headgasket and thought that was the problem. But I found out that I must of cut the wastegate hose when I was putting the turbo and manifold back in by myself. Its much nicer to to drive when the wastegate actually opens, and probably abit easier on the headgasket when I am not hitting 60psi.
