This is a TransCanada pipeline installation near Peace River. These photos are of the pipe being pushed through the borehole under the Cadotte River. They plan on pushing pipe through the Peace River bore on April 2 and it is twice as long as the Cadotte River crossing. It will be one of the longest (1.3 km) and biggest (56 inch) boreholes ever done in Canada

So by the picture you get to sit in your truck and talk on the phone all day, or your job was done and you got to watch. Which one? I got a couple buddies welding with Ledcor on their major project.

Roxx, what kind of computer work do you do. I am a computer tech by trade also, I actually just got out of that line of work last year!

BTW, those are cool pics, a freind of mine used to own Kendall pipelines, they do all kinds of cool stuff these days compared to what they used to years ago

20 years in IT and the industry has been going down the drain in the last 15 years.......Everyone wants years of experience but want to pay the same as someone out of school...I did alot of field support for oil and gas companies including corporate.Off now because of the major down turn in engineering(which was the last company I worked for) in Calgary.Looking but nothing yet...But nice to have the time off..for now.I consulted with TransCanada in the early 90's.......And you would remember this......I worked at Nova Gas transmission before TA took them over...

I owned a couple of different companies, mostly desktop support. My specialty is hardware. I also had a internet cafe towards the end
