That piston is sweet. Nice clean split right down the middle. Never would have thought that the oil pan rail would be a casualty. I'd be interested to know what the piston protrusion is now. Obviously #4 is lower than before. I thought #1 was gonna let go if anything.

Good kill buddy. I think that engine goes into the recycling bin. You might be able to use the oil pan and gearbox.

I hate to ask, how does the fresh head and my turbo look like? I'm kinda scared to ask?

So did the piston split first? seams unlikely, but i've never seen a piston split. guess you've got 5 spares now lol
