thats what I'm saying, Don't get on with the construction contractor. Hire on to Imperial directly. Imperial has a HD posting for Kearl. I applied to it as well as suncor but no response from them so obviously I'm where I'm at. Well it looks like that posting is down now on their website anyways.

Personally I would not hire on with any of the construction contractors. only the root company.

Agreed! Getting on with the root company it where the $$/benefits are. I'm not with a "construction" company but with a maintenance company. Not much difference other than its considered long term vs construction which you know has a finite term. However they could lose the contract and everyone would be out the door.....

L Roberts is a Ceda company now,, good company, very very deep pockets. That would be a very stable job,,, if you are good you could have work with them for the rest of your days

They have so many contracts that if they lost that contract only the weak links would lose their jobs

When I was up in the fort, aircon seem like a good company. They would sell to anybody, got dodge install kit for my truck. As eskimo wouldnt give me the time of day when trying to buy this part. Was working @ Liebherr, they did all the work on hvac systems, webastos, etc.

cLAY buddy I have to hand it to you. I got a cruise through our LVF & support shop. I see what you have to do, I couldn't do it. Not a chance.
I'll do undercarriage on D11s all day long, over touching a mine crew truck.
