As some of you may be aware, I am going to Australia for a couple weeks. So I figured I'd say I'll see you guys in the new year, have a Merry Christmas and have a safe and happy new year. Wish me luck getting there in one piece!

Having cold weather does have its advantages. I was able to bring my truck and new turbo home yesterday.

No drama on the winter road. Just a light touch on the throttle with 500hp on tap with a dually and a 4k gsk, is all thats needed on pure ice

The light touch brought good milage. 30 bucks to go the 280km.

 

Have fun Tate-Australia has always been on my list of destinations. Don't know if I could stand the plane ride though. Good luck-see you sometime next year!

I'm off to "beautiful" Toronto tomorrow am for work & then Xmas with the in-laws near Walkerton...

At least we will be skiing in the Okanagon for New Years..

Got some spare time, so I figured I'd pop in. Long day of travelling, but was otherwise fine. Thanks to my rigorous night shift schedule, jet lag has been a non-issue. Just have to be smart enough not to go to bed at 2am the old time like everyone else did.

Just been hanging out the last two days. Gonna be heading to Brisbane for a couple days after xmas and then going for a trip up north for a few more days after new years. We shall see how it all goes. Should be fun regardless.

Tempted to rent a car, but amount of round-a-bouts here is insane, and they are a bit different than at home I guess. Maybe taking the bus is best for now.
