Shipping from US to Canada
Has anyone ordered anything from the US lately?LMC is still working on the shipping charges....I have a feeling I'm going to land up cancelling another order from them, all because of shipping and all the other fees...Is there a better way besides going down to the US is get parts??Does it seem these shipping charges are way more than a year ago.

If you have a freind down there, you can have them shipped to them,, the closer to the border the better. Then have your friend ship it to you as a gift via post office. That will save alot of money

USPS is the most reasonable place. The border fees are what kills you with Fedex and UPS. I went down this summer to get tires and rims and with all of the fuel it was still cheaper then local, and shipping would of been more to. But now shipping is getting more reasonable it seems. FYI though, I am 99% sure my bro is heading down to Cali pretty soon to buy a car, going to get a bunch of stuff bought back up and could for others

I just have a strange feeling this $258 CAN grill is going to run way over $100 plus..And the worse thing you don't know what the damage till it hits your Visa bill..LMC is checking in general mail service...Like before,I had to cancel a LMC order of $60 because the shipping by mail was $50...It was only a small box of body side moulding in a 12x 12 inch box..

Yea, Mike (Marine) is down in Montana, and comes up this way fairly frequently. I'd talk to him. Or to Doc, he knows everyone!

I bought new clear headlights last yr off an e-bay seller (90ish for both) and 60$ shipping, I guess I was not clear enough when I told them only to ship it via POST OFFICE, they sent it by UPS and UPS charged 35$ "customs fees" on top of the prepaid shipping! so it cost as much for shipping as it did for the freaking lights. OH well at least they were cheaper and better than the CrossCanada ones that were in excess of 200 each.
I think there are lots of places that will ship via the post office, UPS/FEDEX are criminals with their exorbiant "customs fee"

Thanks guys...I sent Dr. Evil a message..How I hate putting people out on this.No one has these sport grills in Canada unless I go to dodge...and I just cannot dish out $1,082 for a grill. You would think with this economy, the goverments would want as much trade between the countries to help business out...
