Got the hot stuff ceramic coated at impact coatings in Edmonton. Turned out really good I think.

You can get either the shinny or not shinny cermaic coating. They seem to do a pretty decent job, first work they have done for me, but they did a buddies snowmobile deck and it turned our real nice

My wife is understanding, but I don't have the capitol yet...

Is that part with the exhaust flange an external wastegate? I need one of them, too...

Looks real good. One day.

Nice. I doubt I'll need two gates for another 10 years.

That, and you alberta guys have a lot of diesel resources up there... I'm almost jealous.

I haven't been around for a bit... working in T.O.

Looks great Kevin. The ceramic coating is pricey & delays the entire project but well worth it.
While the black ceramic coating is rated at a higher temp than the silver coating, the silver coating seems to hold up much better to corrosion & time.

I wish you well in getting that engine straightened out & running well for next year.

As for the understanding wifey, ask for forgiveness rather than permission
& plead ignorance when she asks why all those boxes are in the garage & the truck is disassembled yet again...
