Lil Dog,

No matter what date, dyno or location is decided upon, there will always be some dissention. It's impossible to please everyone.

Do your best to come up with a reasonable compromise & that will be fine...

Thanks...Joe

Thanks Joe... Just trying to take care of the Chapter requests.

The show at Armor Inc. is set for the 17th of October, so the option is there for that one no matter what I can come up with.

I am stepping out here in a few minutes to see CCV.

Sorry to disappoint, I was just not able to get after this event.

I'd personally like to run on the old Vex dyno again, just to keep consistant numbers.

Thumbs up Ok... Option 2......

As suggested by DodgeDiesel I went to CCV and they did not disappoint.

Just by dumb luck, they are having an all day 8:30 to .... Dyno event on Sept. 26 that is open to all, even Gasser events. I said I could have the ABDTR#5 chapter bring in some trucks for the event and they were pumped. Nevin and Ty were both excited to have us show up and fill the lot with trucks ready for the Dyno. They were very accommodating to having us come to their shop.

They are offering a small prize of $250 for the top Diesel power number as well as the other gas classes. If we set up a sign up sheet with confirmed members by Wednesday next week, we can have our own time slot to do our trucks. The runs would be $90 per truck.

So.. In short, our Chapter is having the GTG at CCV for the 26th of September. If this is good by the members, I will start another thread for the confirmation list of roll participants.

Can I ask dumb ? We voted for dates in aug/sept. Sept 26 was the leading or winning. When did oct even come in play? Then I read on another forum that there planning mid oct. But people are concerned about weather that late in the year. So were both groups going to be @ the same place? The dyno event our group had @ AFI in edmonton was a good day. About 20 something trucks. But it took all day. Is event going to run all night? Thanks if anybody can help me clear this up.

The 26th is a go again? That one I personally can make. Not sure if the 12v can though! Oct 17th I was working but might have been able to have the 98 running by that time..... Who am I kidding, see you all in the spring!

Im good with either date & bringing buddy with his new twin ats kit that he wants to put on the rollers. Since the dyno @ the blackout sucked. The numbers were sad. So its this event just for dtr people? Or is the other ab chapter going to be there? Just asking ? so as how to paln out the day. thanks
