I was driving around the south end of Calgary yesterday when a silver rocket ship blew past me like I was sitting still. I ended up behind the truck at the next set of traffic lights it was a silver 2500 (looked to be a few yrs old), there was chrome badging on the tailgate that said SRT-6. It was definitely a diesel, but it was the weirdest sounding Cummins I have ever heard. I Googled SRT-6 and didn't come up with much definitive. Do any of you know anything about this special model of truck? No real reason for inquiry, just curious.

 

As far as I know there never was an SRT-6, the owner just had some custom badging done.

A few years ago on Cumminsforum there were a couple of group buys for SRT-6 badges from a custom badge place...I remember wanting one for some reason, LOL!

Beat me to it. There is a truck in my neighbourhood, two tone black and blue, real head turner (for a 3rd gen) that has those badges. I laugh every time I see it.
