If you're looking for a burger, you can't beat Boogies on edmonton trail, between 8th and 9th ave

Burger Inn. Its fast food, but it blows Peters out of the water. Down by the Brick on Macleod and Southland I think.

Smugglers Inn is pretty good, but pricey. Steakhouse.

Hey Shane
While in Calgary, if you can make it to Cochrane and the timing is right, drop in for BBQ lunch if you like.

Elk and deer on my BBQ can't beat that!

Sure Dave that sounds good...Mrs. Evil has a seminar on Saturday so I have about 8 hours or so to kill. I was going to roll some bums downtown but that can wait.

I always like Chianti's for lunch, the one down on 17th ave and 14th st SW was near my old office many years ago (wow, like over 8 ). I have been downtown a couple times in the last couple months, but never stayed for lunch.
Smugglers is pricey... I'll watch the list here as I will be in Calgary on Thurs next week for a course at the Blackfoot Inn.
