Fifth gear finally pounded it's way off on the old Dodge. Does anyone have the tool for tightening the lock nut/holding the shaft?

It was a hub socket to begin with cut the body out of it. notch the top weld to side. custom clearance the drive tangs.

not to keep it from falling off, just a socket to reinstall 5th gear nut.

Would you get better pricing on bulk parts? A refresh on mine sure would be nice.. Its starting to shift like Tates 24V with a constant grind into 3rd.

I have a company in BC that supplied parts for my super T-10...I got prices but that was a while back...Also Tate got some prices also.I have to talk to Tate...We had one clutch swap day.And the next will be a trans overhaul. If we could rebuild the first one the next 4 should be ok....

FWIW, that tranny is sitting in the garage, after I dropped 5th. And it ground into every gear by then. The current one is out of a 94, and it shifts much better.

I'm still interested in rebuilding it, but have numerous things on numerous plates coming up, so I'll have to hang off for the next while.
