New job @ Brandt Tractor

So I did an interview my last days off and Brandt called me today and are hiring me on as a heavy duty mechanic apprentice

Pretty excited because the place I'm at now kept screwing me around after 2 years of waiting. And it'll be nice to get outa Ft Mac for a while.

Anyone has any good/bad things to say about the shop on 178th in Edmonton?

Man it's gunna be different sleeping in my own bed and working in a shop down the street from my house, And finally doing what I've always wanted to instead of busting tires on heavy haulers.

Ya I herd from a fella at work today that said his buddy had to quit from there because he couldn't afford to live.

Might have to park my truck for the summer, and put all social life on hold for now lol. In the end I think it will be worth it though.

Congrats! Getting my HD ticket has been the best thing I ever did education/job wise. You will ALWAYS have a job with that ticket if you have a good work ethic.

First year doesn't pay much but if you can stick it out you could go back to Fort Mac in 4 years with your ticket and make $120K+/year.
