I'm coming to Kelowna this weekend (and probably passing through Kamloops, on the way to Clearwater), if you have your ducks in a row, I could bring that transmission...

I don't have the number here, it is scribbled down on the back of a business card, I think it is in my dually?

Would be a good score, the NV4500. It shifts like a truck transmission, and can easily handle the new found power. You have to locate some pedals, and thats about it. A nice touch would be to switch out the dash and steering column, but that just cosmetic stuff. Might have to jumper the park/neutral starter circuit for the starter.

Sounds like a sticky solenoid. I had a tranny do that before. The tranny guy just took my truck and bag drove it a few times till it started to shift. Not sure if that is the industry standard way to do it though lol

Did you check line pressure in drive or neutral? ( there will be no pressure in neutral) And are you at the right port?

Remember guys this is pre-electronic. My votes is valvebody or servo. Hate to askbut you have enough transmission oil in the pan?

I would start by hooking up the line pressure gauge. Once you get the valve body out, you can do some air pressure checks to see if the servos work.
Here is the RE47/RH47 service manual

Seen a quick pic for Brandon's new truck to him on the weekend. Any plans for it yet. Talk about a sweet score.

I hope you get your truck & trans straightened out, Lucas.

I grew up in Williams Lake B.C. & my parents (now just my Mom) retired to Kamloops 10 years ago.
We go to Kamloops very regularily, I will have to look you up the next time we are there!
