Putting my stereo into my 08. Keeps me out the house away from the missy. Hoping to do some tuning on my 02 just prior to ripping the twins off. I just got a smoken deal on a garrett GT 4088 VNT. My early chrismas present to myself. Just finding the right primary to go with it. It kant be normal. There has to be some large frame turbo for VGT stuff. You have buy a controller anyways. I'm kinda pumped. Its off a international 466 truck, its not quite the same as the GT4088, but awfully close. They are 1/2 to 3/4 the price of a S300.

 

Might go to the beach with all our friends Oh how i miss the snow tho .hope you boys have a save happy christmas and dont forget what its all about!

 

Beach? Thats hard to believe with our recent bout of -30C.

Having the inlaw family visit for the Xmas holidays, then down to High River for New Years.. Until the 23rd... Working!!!

I never go too far for Christmas-everybody that I need to see lives close and I work Christmas Day anyways. It's an unspoken rule at least where I have worked that everyone comes in Xmas Day to make it a quick day, and then again New Year's Day to flip the charts and get home at a decent time. Had a cross-shift once stick me with the 25th by myself-so I never volunteered to show up on the 1st to help him. Never pulled that trick again as far as I know.....

Merry HO HO, Only 2 days off,so spend time with the "inlaws"as i'm the only one left in Calgary,folks moved up to Cleardale AB and my sister is in Fairview.Hope to make it up there in the summer.I have a few "GOODIES" lying around here that need to be installed on the new 07(mudflaps/AFE cold air box/running boards etc)Harry at Peak is helping me spend some money---i'll be in touch again.The Bombing bug is trying to bite me in the A$$,but i am resisting,hopefully get the cosmetic crap out of the way and then in a year or two move onto a Smarty JR/gauges etc/tranny work---either a call to NADP or DTT.PS And remember fellas--- there are not a lot of us out there so in this time of joy and celebration please "DON'T OVER INDULGE IN THE SPIRITS"and take your Cummins for a rip,,,,,would like to only hear good new over the Christmas season.MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL---DW

 

I bought a new Borgsen steering shaft for my '03 but got caught in that wrong shaft thing. 950 fits 2nd gens, 951 fits 3rd gens. Unfortunatly their catalouge states the 950 fits 1995-2006. Soooo a new 951 shaft is on its way from the factory, hopefully it will come in time to install it over Xmas.

 

Easy to believe when you look at his location. Florida is probably quite nice this time of year once you get past all the hurricane debris.

My last day at the plant is Friday - I may have to drink a little. Then a week off. Gonna roll the truck out to relatives about an hour East for Xmas to visit with those I haven't seen in a while.

It's not clear what the company is doing with me after the new year - aka they really won't commit to saying anything. After a call from someone else last Friday..........Libya maybe..........still waiting for information.

 

We're going to have our 1st christmas here in the new house, let the girls make this home over the holidays.

looks like there's a better than good chance I'll be going on a 28 and 28 to Dubai in the new year. So we'll see how that pans.
