You have the cummins exhaust gaskets for the new manifold? Its going to be a sweet ride buddy. You going to spray or at a later time? If you do spray, you will not need the wastegate as much as you can cool the discharge air off and still keep on making power. Does the truck compressor discharge 90 deg elbow fit onto the new turbo? If it doesn't fit, you might have to make a new air tube to the intercooler.

I'm curious on how well that new turbo will spool-up as I might want one to replace my S366 turbo that I have right now

Kenny, make sure that when you torque them up that you do it in stages. And do a retorque or 2 after you get them up to operating temp.

Kenny you just replacing the old bolts and not replacing the head gasket? Most time you just pull one old bolt at time and throw in the new stud. I think that the instruction say to up in stages 80/100/125, and release and increase. They can that line torquing. Afterwards, its good idea to do a few re-torques as those studs seem to become loose afterwards. At start-up remove the rad cap, let the truck warm-up with no load. Go back and do a retorque. At that point you should be good to hammer.

My plan is to replace one at a time to stock tourque then bump up to arp spec in stages as you said with a few checks after running around. Yeah mike I got new gaskets and I think I'll have to make something work for the charge tube its not a v-band.
I'll probably spray something later on.

Energy suspension just came out with motor mount inserts that are stiffer then stock so I gotta get a set as it feels mine are gone to ****.

I curious on how that turbo cleans up the mach 4's. If you have lots of smoke, go NOS. If you have low amounts of smoke, go the water/methanol route. You probably could run a twin stage set-up for either.

Where you buying the motor mounts from?

Mopac carries them in edmonton, 50 bucks a set not sure if that covers both sides or just one. But if it will reduce the surge/jerk whatever my truck has at lower rpm it will be worth it.

I'm not changing the head gasket, if it held 48psi I figure best not to touch it just clamp it more

You got 48psi with those old sticks and the garrett turbo? It will be interesting what kinda of power numbers you get and initial spool-up rpm you'll have.

Kenny, I'll have a set or two in storage. I'll see whats I have available for you to use. I had lots of extra washers in my kit. I bet if you phone ARP's directly, you'll have them courier to you house overnight.

Update, well thanks to tate I got the clutch in 2 weeks ago and the head studs last weekend.
This weekend I just about got the turbo in ( should be done tonight). The project came to a screechin hault when the bolts holes on the manifold were different then the turbo and spacer. Same t4 ports but little wider bolt hole. Anyway one carbibe bur later it all fits haha. Should start tuning tonight I feel this waste gate might be tricky to dial in but I'll update after the first test drive.
