Leaky Intercooler

Anyone have any sources for non-leaky intercoolers? Apparently Mr. GTX and Mr. Intercooler couldn't get along, and one them them decided to split. Not interested in dropping $1500 on one.

I've got a used one kicking around here if you're in a bind Tate. I can rig something up to pressure test it quick to make sure it's good to go if you need it.

I have my stock one on KIJIJI now. Held 50 psi, great shape. Flexible with price, its just taking up space.

I think I've been taken care of, will do a leak test when I get home to confirm. Mine was 'holding' 80 psi, but wasn't keeping it all in. Be interesting to see what kind of boost there is when its not escaping.

You might want to crank on those arp's one more time. Your twins set-up will probably suprise you on how good they really are. Might be a good time to throw in a cam and bigger injectors when you do the intercooler swap, if you go in that far. Been awhile since I heard a leak that big.

I really should do a retorque on the studs, its been a while, and I've thrown a fair bit of boost at it. Hopefully I'll be home for longer than 3 days after this and I can get some of that stuff done. No dice on a cam right now, got bigger fish to fry. Only injector swap will be my HR370's I think. Be nice to be finished with my daily driver and work on the dually or the broncos.

Sure doesn't sound like the Tate I know. Let me know when you're in town, should be an easy repair, once you get an intercooler. Probably a good time to clean the rad and clean-up the engine bay some.
