as if i needed more crap

So yesterday im driving home across the river, i noticed my trans temp climbing. Then as soon as i slow down she starts to shutter at low rpm. Pull over and let it cool down, tranny temp did not move any lower then 200 f. Start to drive away and in first gear she shakes and shutters the truck untill i get it into second gear. Any suggestions, checked oil its full but im going to change it anyway. Any other suggestions would be awesome. Im secretly hoping it's broke so i have an excuse to change out tranny lol. wife said she has to die before that happens, but she knows the 300c wont pull the 32 ft trailer haha. But if i can fix it without the hefty bill right now that would be better.

So today i drop the oil and pull off tranny pan, guess what i find. I find the filter sitting on the bottom of the pan, and very fine (almost like silt) grey metal filings on plug, and lining the bottom of pan."alot" any idea's im at a stand still.

So i went ahead and dropped the oil and pan, like i said erlier. Adjusted front and reverse bands to spec's i found on here. Now the tranny seems more responsive then before but it still stutters abit. Could this be the 1,2,1,2, hunting. It only does this at low acceleration, but if i give her some extra off the line she shifts fine. Im hoping it's just that and i can fix it before breaking the bank on a new tranny. Any idea's

Well leaving a full stop at light throttle, she starts to jerk the truck but only when it should shift from 1st to 2nd. During this shaking and jerking, the rpm fluxuate untill i give her some more throttle to shift. Then if i give it some more throttle from a stop it dont shake or jerk the truck at all. I hope this help's ya.

Might try upping the throttle pressure in the trans.

yeah, that might help,, try going out on the highway, find a decent hill, and while in OD see try to accelerate without it dropping a gear, see if you get any stutter that way too

I did that today with no shutter, but at 140k hr my rpm was at 2800 is that normal. It also only seems to happen under 30k hr unless i give it a good punch on the throttle. Im hoping that im explaining this so you guys understand. Tranny temps seem to be at norm "165 to 185'F in town". seems to shift through all the other gears with no problem. The odd time it will shutter when slowing down aswell.

Is this "stuttering" your talking about when it goes to shift to 2nd??? It feels like it shifts then pops back into first before its really in second a bunch of times?? Mine did that right before I lost 2nd.....

Pretty much exactly the same, plus the engine kinda pulsates.
