I love my Truck

Tried driving at 110 KMH for once... WOW,,,, I reset my computer in Edmonton to check out mileage

7l per 100 KM or about 31MPG. This was average... Next comes the hand calculation... but the last time I did a comparison between the computer and had it was actually quite close within 1 or 2 MPG...

I even did a 200 kmh blast passing a row of dorks during this trip... my previous best mileage was 8 l per 100km or about 27 28 mpg.

I now have 80000 kms on it, seems to have loosed up a little bit... amazing truck

WOW, Pretty Good----Best i can muster out of the 07 DRW is 19-20MPG driving at 110KPH in summer (even with the BFG KM2 33.5 inch tires),heck even my 01 with everything turned up gives me 22MPG at 110KMH---go above 2000RPM and they both drop quick.Wifes 08 Nissan Sentra (2.5LT) gives us 40(170HP) on the highway.CHEERS DW

Before I went too crazy on the 03 dodge I used to get around 24 MPG. That was with a Diablosport Dr P combination.

My ford has the DPF removed, AFE intake, EGR block off plates, and a SCT tuner with Erick from Innovative Diesel tunes

Kev, how many kilometer per tank do you get? You have a 140L tank on the truck? My 2010 can gets around 1000 to 1100 km per 120 liters.

That's is pretty amazing. I drive a 2011 Ford 6.7 crew cab short box work truck. It's 9400lbs with all the tools and it will only get 600km to a 100L tank!

Kev, you running stock tires on the truck? The odometer check out vs GPS? Sounds like your getting better fuel mileage than my 2010 is. My tank fill is around 110-120 litres. My city is 700-800km per tank and hiway is 900-1000km. My tank is a 135 litre tank vs the 120 litre tank on the 02. Sure miss the extra fuel capacity on the 02.

Heard a few engine 6.7L ford failures. To bad they didn't keep the 6.4L around, sure wished I bought one vs. my 2010. Congrats on the decent fuel mileage buddy. These days been getting only 300-400km per tank on the 02, must run it 10-14hr's a day, idle it around 6-10hrs a day. Been cold here in Regina and my fuel gauge died.

Maybe I should get a newer truck, seems to be wiping the floor with my truck. I get about 700-800km on 100-110 litres, and thats highway. Time for some high compression pistons and a camshaft, I suppose.
