i have a package in montana

anybody coming up through or from montana anytime soon?

i have a package which was supposed to be in columbia falls on friday june 10, but the company i ordered from shipped it late and it won't arrive until monday june 13.

this really screwed me over bad as i had someone lined up to pick it up for me this weekend. unfortunately they will be gone when it arrives.

anyone going through columbia falls anytime soon that can bring it back? 2 boxes, avarage size, full of detailing product/supplies . . .

or elsewhere in montana or close to on the stateside that i could have the package re-directed to for pick up at another location?

any help at all or other ideas are appreciated!!

jason

Depending on when you are returning from your trip you may be able to call the shipper and request they hold it at the terminal for pickup there or have it dropped at another location with someone you trust. You will need to contact the shipper for there policy.

Sorry Jason, but I have no southern trips planned in the near future. .

As a group we should co-ordinate more with Montana trips to pick up goods.
I've got a list of small car & RV stuff to purchase & will likely make another Sweetgrass run late summer early fall.

If you can get your packages to the Montana Shipping outlet in Eureka or Sweetgrass, then can forward them to Calgary, for a fee of course.

If the goods are not too critical, you can leave them at Montana Shipping Outlet for quite a while & they don't charge anything.

hey chris,

that might actually work out well . . . oh wait, i guess it depends on the hours . . .

what is your route on the way down? would the way down even work? what day/time do you think you'll be going through eureka?

I've run a bunch of stuff through the montana shipping outlet in the last 18 months. In sweetgrass montana. they won't hold it for free. thats the point of their business. receive stuff for a fee. its not much though.

ok, this just might work out. so not this saturday, but next saturday the 18th correct? if so, then this is the 3rd saturday of the month, and the MSO is open on the 1st and 3rd saturday of each month . . . although they are only open 10-2 on saturday, and until 530 on the friday . . .

if this works for you i'll see if i can have the package re-directed, or shipped out from columbia falls if it's too late for a re-direction . . .

i'll wait to hear from you here, and i'll get on the horn to see if we can make it work!

sounds good. i'll have it re-directed to eureka at the MSO then . . .

either way, it will be easier than columbia falls, even if it doesn't work out for you.

i'll get on the phone, then i'll call or PM you with details!

fill in the blanks chris:
my favourite beer is _______ !!!
or
my favourite liquor is ________ !!!

I hope it works out for you guys.

One thing to note if you haven't been to the Montana Shipping Outlet in Eureka before, it's at the BACK of the building in the pictures.
The pictures are totally misleading.

http://www.montanashipping.com/index.html

The building is right on the main street but it's a long skinny building & the MSO entrance & warehouse are at the back. The MSO signage is small & confusing.

Don't bother with the address, just ask someone on the main street if you can't find it.

And if you are going to be there early or late or on a w/end, phone 1st.
Their store hours are just a general guideline, not exact!

All I can say is duty free or buy the liquid in Montana, its way cheaper.

I'll probably be going to Sweetgrass in a few weeks, Zach knows me pretty good. Never had an issue with them holding a package. I usually have a pretty good pile of stuff when ever I pull thru.

Funny thing is there is another shipping outlet right next door. Just shipped 130lbs of injectors to SDX last week.
