Good wreckers in Calgary

Hey folks,

I'm looking for some components for my speedo( the little contraption that mounts onto the t case). I've heard of heavy metal but they are a little too far to make it out there after work. I'm really hoping to find something local.

Thanks.

you can scrounge around at any wrecker in town......or you can call Mr. Speedometer and get a new one. they're not that much. I bought one for my Divorced 205 for like $20

I used them as well for a new speedo pin on my 89 CTD.. The nut stripped off the connector and the pin rounded. It was like $0.25 for the pin and I just had to take the speedo reduction box apart to replace the pin. They are a great place!

I stopped by there after work today, but I didn't have the part with me. I guess I couldn't explain it very well cause the lady at the counter didn't know what I was talking about. And whta she thought it was, was gonna cost around $130ish.. I wont be paying that I tell ya. Im gonna take it in tomorrow with me and hopfully she was confused. How hard is it to pull the pin out yourself and put a new one in?
