Floor Coatings

Anyone have any recommendations for places to do floor coatings? Specifically, a polyaspartic coating. I've talked to the Garage Store, they're coming to give me an estimate tomorrow. But I'd like to hear other sources, if anyone knows of any.

A little warning. Not all coatings are good to use with in floor heat if you have it...

From the research I've done, polyaspartic seems to be most durable and longest lasting of coatings. Epoxies have issues with hot tires/turning while stopped causing to lift or tear out. Downside to polyaspartics is the prep and quick set time (also a bonus), so DIY installation isn't recommended.

I just had a crew come into our building and put down a polymer coating on our slate flooring. It is a clear coat that can be tinted if needed, they use it on loading docks and wharehouse floors apparently. They told me it would last a minimum of 10 yrs and can be retouched if needed. I will get you the info tomorrow when i get to work. The only way to remove is with diamond abbrasives.

I recommend you contact Scotty at Legacy Industrial. They ship orders to drop couriers on the border for many customers in Canada. He can assist you with saving on the shipping costs.
