What's the issue? I spoke to Matt at DFC last week and was impressed. Some others... not so much...

I have always done my own work and never used anyone so never went looking. I will probably continue to do my own stuff but my son hits town every now and then and his 2011 truck is usually beat to death and he's always on such a tight time line to leave again. They have someone looking after my old 2001 truck but he didn't want to take his 2011 there, I didn't get into it with him. The small stuff I will still help him with but the bigger jobs I'm just tired of and getting too old.
Never heard of DFC so I Googled them, the engine re-builders 10751 180 st right? I was just at Standens the axle place yesterday about a block away, I'll drive up in the next day or so and check them out.
My son's 2011 work truck has some major front end damage from wildlife, AC condenser and intercooler plus the frame may be slightly bent, needs a new HD bumper too. Although I have a Southbend 3250 sitting on the floor I can't seem to get the truck to say still to replace it, If he had to take it in it might stay motionless long enough to get caught up, I can't fault him though he's making hay while the sun's shining. Thanks..

Stephen Grundke at Khaos Kustoms

He got me going again after I melted down the engine in my 06 Cummins almost exactly one year ago (May 20). I'll admit I'm biased though!

I recommend either DFC or Lloyds Customs.

Thanks guys, although I have lived in Edmonton almost 30 years I haven't heard of any of them, I'll go for a drive tomorrow and check out the three of them.

I checked out Lloyds and DFC but didn't get to Stoney as it's the wrong side of Edmonton for my son. It seems DFC is basically engine rebuilding and engine R&R where Lloyd is the rest of the truck so we will use Lloyd's place and hope we never need DFC's specialty work but nice to know they are there. DFC said they were in the process of moving and didn't have a hoist in the new shop yet. Thanks again I would probably never found either yet both were right around the corner from places I use all the time. Edmonton brake and clutch/DFC and Liquidation Center for truck accessories/Lloyd

It was Matt I met and spoke with, seemed nice but they only do engine work and we need someone to fix the rest of the junk that gets broken. I should be keeping a list
