fitting sizes
What tubing size you gonna use. 1/2in stuff is pretty easy to work with. Once your done, your done. Its worth the money. Greggs, would have the metric AN or JIC stuff, if you want to save a couple bucks. Stainless is the way to go, if you hate leaks. I just hate rubber, at some point it will fail. Bending the tubing, is fun stuff, its almost as fun as building intercooler air tubing. I like that kinda of stuff, some don't but I like stuff to fit purfect
Hey I have just thought of another stupid question... as far as return lines,, there would be just the one off of the back of the head, and 1 each from the cp3's right? There shouldnt be any others that I am missing in my head right now?
This is the stuff you will want to use:

Are you wanting metric or SAE?
I would pull out the fittings and take it to the swedgelock dealer. Remember to take the fittings out of the tranny heat exchanger and off the tranny cooler. Its NPT but I can't say exactly. The tranny might be 3/8in and the cooler is 1/2 or 3/4. You could use a swedgelock flare fitting outside the casing. I usually just raid the fitting cabinet at work. You gonna use 1/2in stainless tubing? Remember to flush or blow out the lines and makes sure everything is clean as it goes together. I hate to have to ruin a tranny or a motor just because of dirt. Especially on that 9's run, that you been dreaming about. Hows the monster build going buddy?
Its going slow,,, but should pickup speed here soon... doing the cage next weekend,, pumped about that,, engine should be here next week, uber pumped about that..
What do you think about using SS braided lines for the tranny?

You could use hydraulic lines if you want. Its easier, than stainless. I just like stainless tubing, its a fetish?
I do enough at work and 1/2in bends easy. I plan to drive my truck for another dozen years, so I can't have a line break during driving. I'm gonna pass 70k this year. I have to go back to Chicago next week. Might break the 10k in month.

LOL,, I am almost 60 on my truck (chevy) for the year, with 2 more trips to gp and back slated yet... I think that there is going to be a new dodge on the horizon
Any advantage to going with the stainless? The disadvantage I see is being able to move things,, like the cooler,.

None really, stainless is more long life, more resistant to failure as its rated for 2000+psi. Most hydralic hose is as good as tubing. Automotive hose, its junk. Its just an accident waiting to occur.
At least your still in Canada. I just enjoy the crossing over point into USA. Every crossing its a heavy drama. Last time I was in the holding cell for 2-3hrs. The time before they have a drug dog go thru my truck and the dog peed on my tires.
The time before they thought that my truck was radioactive.
