Dave, you still getting any fuel on the top end rpm band? Don't take away all the smoke as you still need some smoke to make power buddy.
Would of love to put a set of twins(BD) on the 01 but she is done for now---have to focus on a little extras for the 07 now---here we go again, old blue will be out for a few rides in the next week or so,been racking up the miles on the dually hauling supplies back and forth to the vacation place every week,so much easier to haul with a open bed+quad trailer compared to my 01 with the canopy. Most likely drive the 01 back and forth now that the work is getting closer to being done.If i can swing some time off work i'll make it out to another gathering.I have slowly started on the 07 MEGA DUALLY-----personal plate came last week---"FATT 59"DW

Dweiler you gonna start tweaking the 07? A few of us would like an almost like brand new but better 01 sit in our garage. I put on about 20000km this year already on the beasty. I don't drive anything else these days. I sure miss the twins and the smoke but there is too many cops and traffic issues to deal with. I might be slowing down these days.

The more I work the truck the more I like it. Last weekend I was hauling dirt for my house. I can fit a 1 1/2 yards of dirt into the box and I'm still not on the overloads. The recon suspension works nice and I'm enjoying just driving over everything.

Might try the BDS long arm down the road.

Tweaking will commence in the summer---for this year a DSS brace,MBRP Kool Duals,rear/tranny Mag-hytecs,CFM intake,Smarty JR,,Leer tonnue cover,Amsoil bypass oil system.Probable next year look at a Carli suspension+front/rear Fab Fours with another16.5 warn winch like my 01,BD turbo/intercooler/whack of gauges and DTT tranny last(may as well blow this one first and then get it built right).20k over 4-5 years doesn't hurt to much but that is the plan unless some ABDTR members convince me otherwise to do more.I love working my 07 too,1 1/2 yard of rocks in the bed+another in the quad trailer=6000LBs and still get 17 MPG doing 115KPH to the lake----heck it never even downshifts on cruise
