yeah it is heavy,, I am figuring it is between 100 and 150, but it would be nice to nail it down a little closer,, makes it easier to figure out shipping

Well I have a couple of options, none of them perfect. Thats why I want to find out how heavy the head is so that I can "weigh" all the pros and cons of each place

Kev, I had one shipped from PDR last year on DHL. Right to my door. I'll look thru my receipts. From what I remember, its wasn't that bad of a price. PDR put orings into my head for $300, the head was new around $1500. After GST, orings, shipping I was into it for around $1900 dollars.

Too bad you have a one year newer truck, as you could have that head. I just have it sitting on one of my spare engines.

Prior to shipping check for cracks. You'll save some money that way if its damaged. Die penatrate works good. I used compressed air. Mine leak out the combustion chamber between the intake and exhaust valves.

A $4k head PDR stage 2 cracked after 80000km. I had it ported to the max, orings.

I'm going to call close to 150lbs, maybe 155 or so.

They aren't as heavy as they seem while sitting on your fingers, or any other parts that are in the way.

I do believe 200 is close for a dressed head, with exhaust manifold and so on, but I could be a bit out to lunch.

Jamie, Mine came in a card board box. Did you get the orings cut as well? Is it on a truck? You buy an older truck buddy?

Been putting your old motor to good use. Its keeping a few trucks running hard buddy.
