Don't get too high now. Depending on how it works for you, this could be a good answer for adding more gauges to my rig.

Will see how this works...It does take a long time to cure, but with the weather is,I don't know when the painting will start....Now I'm stuck with this other black grill......I need that new dodge logo..I haven't tryed prying it off, either I will damage the grill and logo or peel the backing of the logo..All the work for nothing...I will post it on Kijiji and see if I could get rid of it..

what about using a heat gun on the backside of the grille at the spot of the logo? do you have a strong suction cup of some sort that is small enough to fit on the logo? you could pull with the suction cup while you heat it . . .
or you could put a sock/rag on the end of a slot screwdriver and pry while you heat it . . .

If there's a small gap behind it, use a piece of fishing line. (super thin spider wire works best)
One end in each hand, slip it behind on one side and use a sawing motion to cut through the sticky stuff, take your time, it's not a race.....That's the way the Harley mechanics get those cast emblems off without damaging a 600+ dollar paint job or a $200 emblem.

I gotta admit....when I saw the title of this thread....I thought of this.

Flava FLAV!

I used the fishing line trick when I debadged the dually. One thing on that, and not sure if it will apply to the grille emblem, is the fishing line will actually cut through the side emblems if you don't keep it tight to the panel. It started cutting into the ram3500 emblem, but I saved it from wrecking the Cummins emblem. I'm sporting those on my tool boxes.

I liked the link that showed how to install a front for video screen into a stock dash. I will be picking you brain on this one day Dave. I've been dreaming about putting a real cool entertainment system into my truck. My wife bugs me that there is no TV screens. TV screen in work truck

Dave, aren't you working on a screaming chicken car?

By the posting of some of the guys on that site, say the chemical process is not the best, but some say its good...I take it all with a grain of salt, because some people are not very handy and look at a easy and quick way...I tryed the chemical way on the grill.....Sure it takes time to setup but once it does it works good...

Yes the Firebird........I started restoring the grill and now the bird sits again....Why doesn't spring come already.Getting to old to roll around the garage floor when its cold...

Just curious, why you would want to try to fix your cracked grill when they are only $50.00 for a shiny new one?
As for the emblem removal, you just have to use a bullet drill bit from the back side and make 2 shallow holes, then take a small flat punch and apply pressure through the holes you drilled and it will pop right out.
