I just got back from there....could have been 24 inches...I heard it was more like 16 - but who am I to argue. It was like an obstacle course. We got stuck in the airport parking lot, McDonalds parking lot, and hotel parking lot...didnt even go to the plant the first day. The company insists on renting a CAR so I got paid to sit in the hotel room. (which BTW was $477 for 2 nights).

My dad was supposed to fly up there on Tuesday afternoon. Takes off from Calgary, flies to Edmonton. Takes off there, gets to McMurray, runway is snow covered, flies back to Calgary. Gets in around 9 pm, hangs around to close to midnight to find out what flight he's gonna be on the next day.

Leaves Wednesday morning, flies to Edmonton. Fly up to McMurray, runway is ice covered, flies back to Edmonton while they clear the runway there. Ended up getting there late Wednesday night.

I was in Ft Mac 2 weeks ago.. Sitting around in Hotel seems like the usual fare up there.. The safety cops wouldn't give me a badge...LOL.. I got the cheap rooms at $199/nite.. There for a week. They already had about 8" still on the ground then..

I went old school full flares from Breman Composites out of Indiana.I know these flares would not be good if your going over deep holes. They were a factory flare that were common on quad cab trucks, but never seen them on a regular cab, until I seen flashdancer truck (picture of her truck below). They cost as much as a very high end tube stepside without paint.Good thing I could paint them myself. If someone else had to paint them, the flares with the paint including install would cost around $1,700...
