Kevin,
Can I be part of your "pit" crew? The reason i am asking is I am going to do an old school road trip. Be leaving in about 15 minutes. But I won't be there till kinda late, like maybe 11 alberta time. I think you are an hour ahead of BC and it 2:45 here.
Anyways Old School = getting drunk and sleeping in truck! I don't and won't drink and drive, and have no problems napping in my truck. But if the festivities are over by the time I pull into the camping area at night, I will just get a hotel in Nisku or whatever. I am sure I still have your Cell and will shoot you a text around 9 or 10 tonight. I will pay whatever "camping" fees there are. Whatever, who knows! I better quit typing and hit the road. Time is a ticking!

7 1/2 hrs. Was not to bad, had to stop in whitecourt for fuel for my tummy and for my truck. Left FSJ with just a little over 1/2 a tank. Then roll around under it and decide if I should abort the trip. Clutch after 487,000+ km's is starting to make rattling and growling noises. But I say screw it! The party must go on. I have a brand new southbend and slave cylinder in my basement at home......

Was a good show. The dodge that was supposed to set the super street record had an issue of spitting pipes out on the track at 130 mph. But he is no licensed for going into the 9's, so no more excuses.
Got to see Dmitri's dmax. Impressive machine. Has done 1400+ and 1700+ hp dyno runs, ran 9.99 (told to slow down). Best part, he drove it from Utah with his tools and 4 cheater slicks in the back, and is driving it home. Ran 9.99 with a sub box in the back seat!

Ya Dmitri's d-max was impressive. I don't beleive the 1800+HP dyno pull numbers, but still is a fast truck. To bad that the super stock record was set yesterday, just on something so simple stuff.
Good to see everyone. Daniella, to bad you didn't let us see the new engine. I would have like to see how it ran.
Thanks for the beer Kev, good chatting with you. I was so burnt out yesterday, had two/three days of working to 1-2am. I'm such a paper weight these days.
