Can I borrow some measuring tools?

Anybody have any inside diameter measuring tools? Like an bore micrometer or some larger outside micrometers? I want to measure stuff around the 4.02in (piston diameter) and get something for crank diameter? I want to get an engine machined up here pretty soon, and I want to measure the original parts to know what I have prior to machining and then after I get the engine machined up to make sure I get what I want. I want to get some custom pistons built for each cylinder. I also would like to know the taper of the cylinder prior to boring out the cylinder.

Tate you game to give me a hand on ripping that 12V apart. I want to freshen up the short block. I'm hoping that I don't need new pistons. I also want to check the rods and mains. I could do the old plastic gauge, but prefer to use some measuring tools. I was looking for a bore micro gauge, but those will work. You just have to check more areas of the cylinder to find out if its still round and how much cylinder tapper from the bottom to the top of the cylinder.

I've got some large mitutoyo micrometers if you need, I would have to mail them to you, wouldn't be able to do it until Friday though, unless there is someone heading south from Mcmurray

Thanks buddy, but I'll get the inside diameter gauges from Luke or Rob. I should really buy a set of inside gauges and a set of outside micrometer. Just my garage keeps getting more and more stuff. There a few sets available on ebay, but I rather use that money for freshening up the 12v.
