Hey guys....This is very short notice...But there is a show and shine this Saturday that we have been invited to...Last year they had 500 vehicles and 1500 people came to the event..This year they expect ever more of a turn out...So far I got 1st and 2nd gen Dodge and one Ford..Anyone else??They have some sort of burnout pad also

I got a call back from the coordinator...For our trucks...He has a perfect spot...Its on top of a hill that would veiw the whole show.. Pick and pull has donated scap cars,if someone wants to park their big rig on top of one...The coordinator really wants as many heavy duty trucks as we could get..

 

This event is all free.....

 

I will try to show up for it to chit chat, but my truck is in now way shape or form willing to go into a show.

 

Sounds good Derrick...Hope you could make it by...I wasn't going to go to this S@S because I have so much to do on Saturday...Oh well ...it could wait till Sunday..

 

I had to bail, to many projects and not enough daylight. You guys getting together on Sunday at Timmys?

 

Hmm, bit of a stretch for me now. Noon here on the coast.

 

Wow...That sure was a big show of cars,trucks,semi and even the Calgary fire department where showing there rescue and pumper truck(Maybe they had to be there.The young kids sure like sitting in the firetrucks)..

Oh and that fire crew was there because someone call 911 and said the Church was on fire........ (smoke from the burnouts) so they stayed around and showed their trucks for a while.

 

That was really good of the Calgary Fire Department to stick around and show off the trucks...I bet the firefighters where happy to get that call..Sure beats sitting at the fire station...

In my area,the fire department drives around the area during Halloween to watch out for the treat and treaters...and show there trucks off to the kids...Had the pumper truck parked in front of my house about 3 years ago..for the parents and kids during halloween...
