Blown Tranny lines

Hi, both tranny lines leading up front to my tranny cooler have blown, the ones that run right next to the oil pan. Can anyone recommend replacements or is the *********** the only option for direct bolt in. I'm stuck up here in Fort Mac with a busted down rig, and the parts guys at the local dealership are useless as Fu*%!
Thanks
Cheers!
Dan

I just had to replace the same lines, I just bit the bullet and went to the dealer. 387 bucks later and it was all fixed. The only thing I wish I would have done differently is getting the older style line with a temperature port in it, I asked for it but the "highly educated" staff there informed me it would never work even though they are identical lines except one has a hole for a temp sensor in it.
Hope everything works out for ya.
Fred.

You can use stainless tubing. I can't remember if its 3/8 or 1/2in. I think everything is AN4 fittings. Pretty standard hydraulic fitting stuff. You could even get some heavy duty hose made-up. The heat exchanger in 1/2NPT, its been awhile since I did mine. I didn't use the press fit hose fitting for the line up by the rad/tranny cooler. I haven't used a stock cooler in so long, I just made up new stuff. I'm using a B&M twin fan cooler, the stock didn't keep things cool enough for me.

Cool, thanks for the info guys! I thought about getting the line with the port in it, just for that reason, and it is on "Fritz's" website for a "T" fitting. I actually plumbed in a B&M cooler on the truck with 1/2" stainless lines and swagelock fittings. It worked great, and was gonna do the rest of the lines but my swagelock benders are 2000Kms away. My only issue is trying to get to the dealer to source/buy parts when i'm without a vehicle... oh well...
Thanks, and Cheers!

Swagelok is exactly what I was thinking. How much did it cost you for the S.S. flex hose?

Im sure you can beg, steal or borrow a set of 1/2" benders in Fort Mac....

I haven't gotten any flex hose yet, gonna make some calls for stock replacement lines. The ones i did plumb in from the cooler are hard 1/2" lines with tube adaptors to the now blown lines. I'll snap a pic and post it up. And yeah i'm sure i could find a bender if i looked hard enough... after all it is fort mac...LOL
Cheers!
