If anyone is interested in trying out the Baldwin BD7317 dual flow hi flow/bypass combi oil filter, they have some at Union Tractor, in GP. I ordered some a few months ago and forgot about them until this week.

They have 3 left at around $15 each but can order more. They are a pretty nifty filter and basically the same price as a regular replacement filter.

I put one on my truck this summer but haven't done oil analysis yet. I have about 5000km on the filter and plan to do analysis this month.

Technically, it's approved for 5.9 cummins in some applications, but not approved by dodge. This doesn't mean that it will necessarily void warranty but in any case, buyer beware.
