automotive marketing group?

has anyone heard anything about these guys? I posted my truck up for sale on auto trader a while ago and these guys phoned me. they say that they will sell my truck for my asking price (which in my opinion is a little high) for 500 bucks up front. If they dont within 90 days they refund the money. They claim that i will receive the money through a bank transfer 3 days before i have to let my truck go as well. Supposedly they make their money by financing the purchaser.
I have to talked to two different agents and a few reciptionists and everything seems legitimate. i cant find anything online claiming this to be a scam artist company either. But you know the old saying, if it seems to good to be true, it probably is.
Long story short has anyone heard of these guys? any one deal with them? buy a truck through them?

They never sold her vehicle and she already paid the $500....And made some excuse that they could not return her money to her because of admin fees...

i had my snowmobile forsale, the guy asked "so is that like a liquid cooled motor"? and other really really dumb questions said he had 2 buyers ready. to me it sounded very scam like.

ya they gave me the 'we have two buyers ready' speech as well. said one in airdrie and one in chinook. ive been trying to find anything saying this is actually a scam online and have had no luck so far. I have to say this is the most thorough scam set up ive ever heard of. I plan to contact visa and ask if they have had any complaints or records of dealing with these guys and do some other looking searching into it. I dont plan on dealing with them but i am curious about it.

TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE---"RIP OFF"-i nearly got sucked into this as well---"WALK AWAY".Tell them to bring the buyer with money in hand and you will pay there "finders fee" when the deal is done----usually never hear from them again.Lots of complaints on BBB website and Ripoff Report site.I had about a dozen call from these idiots-and they seemed stubborn to the answer "no"----put it this way---when you list your house for sale -do you pay the realtor first before you house sells.DW---PS Makes you wonder how these people sleep at night--i was raise a little different where a hand shake and you word meant something-----a good beating or falling down the stairs would fix these guys right up.---MY RANT.

Hi Kevin,

Sorry to hear you are selling your truck. Do you have a newer one in mind?

Either way, good luck with the sale...
