I'll be there in the afternoon but unfortunately will be driving down from Wetaskiwin & won't be able to convoy with you guys which is always fun.

The weather is looking good & it should be an awesome GTG!

Where are you located again Shane? I'll be arriving in Red Deer in the afternoon. If all goes to plan.

Also, wifey & I will be at the Wetaskiwin racetrack on Saturday nite watching the stock car races. It's a great high bank paved oval with tight racing.
Feel free to join us. It's now called Edmonton Raceway but it's in Wetaskiwin.

Sure come on out Shane. Racing starts about 6pm.
My work/cell is 403-five eight nine- one one eight nine. Feel free to call or text me on Saturday nite.

My Mustang is just a speedy street car. '89 5.0L that I've owned since new & usually spends more time up on blocks dissassembled than on the road, until this year!

It has a ton of 1/4 mile laps on it over the years, quickest is 12.70@109mph in Calgary. Naturally aspirated 302/5.0L with a good set of CNC ported aluminum heads on it.
A few years ago I took all the drag race suspension parts out of it. Installed 5 lug Cobra disk brakes all around, aftermarket front & rear road race type suspension, welded up uni-body seams, torque boxes & subframe connectors, 6 point SCCA/NHRA roll bar.

I've had 6 track sessions this summer on the road course this summer. 2 full race schools & 4 lapping sessions. My last hurrah before they close down Race City.

I am also taking a fun stock car racing school in Wetaskiwin this Sunday.
Just having fun & not much messing around with my truck this summer.

Jade did 955, and then broke the dyno. No one had much luck after he ran. Diesel Dave did 330, Tony did 400+ (not sure the exact number), Deb/John did 490 something, Rob (Chip07) came in second place for the single turbo category, not sure his numbers. He did 518 in Edmonton two weeks ago. Mitch did 578, taking 1st in the single turbo, and 2nd in fuel only class. I did 520 on my daily driver setup (181 DV's). I popped in the SDX DV's hoping to break 6, but only manage 550. They had issues with loading the trucks, he was dragging the brakes on all the vehicles. More load would have definitely been a bonus.

wow what fun day it was today. Was cool to see all the smoke and cool trucks. Jade truck rocked the cool catergory with probably the simplest bad to the bone truck.

Thanks to the Armour guys for getting this one going for us. The diesel chat has been over due for awhile.

More load on that dyno would've been a definite improvement. I know that my truck has more than 349hp in it... It was a great day otherwise though! It was real great to see everyone again before winter hits.
