UFA locally here was touch and go last week-moving product between the agent's multiple branches to try and keep everything going. I'm not going to let my truck get down to fumes again until supplies are back to normal....

Down to around $3.55 a gallon here. Plenty to be had.

Saw a news blurb on the 'Net that said Suncor was resuming diesel production-maybe this will make a dent. Heard a UFA rep saying they are trucking it in from across the line now to try and keep going.

One good thing at least, we Know in Alberta we don't rely on Foreign oil for our fuel.
My buddys rig just shut down due to no fuel. I have to drive up north and not sure if there is going to be some fuel.

Out of fuel what a crock. Any excuse to keep the price up.

There tons of oil here, just a very few refineries in Alberta that can refine it. Thats the crock, their building more on the books for Ontario, but nothing here. Thats why our fuel prices are higher than out east and we have to live with fuel shortages. They have our cheap oil and gas, and we have to pay the emission costs.

Why the heck doesn't that Parkland refinery in Bowden fire back up? That was making fuel from condensate (stripped byproduct of natural gas) and shut down a couple years ago when it was too costly to continue. They could help out and make a fortune at the same time.

Try running 42 service rigs. Were getting close to shutting 10 or so down from Red Deer to GP...
I've yet had to pull that excuse to have a few days off for our guys... "ya Mr. Co Rep, I think we'll shut down for a month cause we have no Flippin fuel???"
Funny thing is 3 of those are Suncor rigs...
